Rosy Maple, or simply Rosy, as she's most often referred to, was adopted by Grim and Milkshake--her two fathers--back when she was only the age of 3, knowing her name and the name of her mother but not knowing where she is, having been found fallen out of a tree and weak. They couldn't find the mother or father, so they brought her back to their home. Rosy grew up under them, but perhaps because of how Hataki constantly kept her fathers away so they could fight in her wars with the other knights, Rosy grew up socially stunted. She's shy and cautious of strangers regardless of whether they're in Sector 7 or not, and is often wandering in the trees of the Sector, above where the scapers are found, and whenever she has to stay in one place for more than a day, Rosy gets agitated and snappish. She needs to be able to wander and satisfy that want to see new things. Even now, in young adulthood, Rosy can't go a day without wandering the territory. There were two results to this. One is that she has developed an overwhelming love for the wildlife of Sector 7, and the second is that she met a rare white crow. She found the albino getting attacked by one of the wild animals in the Sector trying to get it for food, and, because it was making the noises of crows that the wilaks in Sector 7 have come to revere, Rosy jumped into chasing the attacking animal away. She nursed the white crow back to health, feeding it bits of her meals. Milkshake and Grim gushed over what a wonderful sign of favor it must be from the ancestors to send Rosy an albino crow to befriend, as the founders of the Sector had done, but, frankly, Rosy wasn't so interested in that. She was more interested in the fact that now she had a friend who didn't mind, nay, enjoyed her love of solitarily wandering the territory. Rosy Maple's constant wandering and want to see new things keeps the red-eyed crow--who Rosy calls Gypsy after the similarly white gypsy moth--by her side, following for food and the occasional attention given to it but not shoved onto it forcefully. Another effect of Rosy's wanderings, aside from her best friend Gypsy, is her hearing of wilaks living in the woods along the edges of Sector 7. However, Rosy has never been able to find these curious wilaks, but is intensely fascinated by the idea of these tribal folk, and, lately, her wanderings have been her and Gypsy out to try and find and meet these tribal wilaks. So far, no luck, and Gypsy does sometimes insist that Rosy go and explore somewhere else with the intelligent bird, to which Rosy doesn't complain, but this young princess sees no reason to give up her end goal of seeing these mysterious new wilaks for herself. Besides, maybe they can answer some questions, like why her patterning reminds her so much of some of the old wilak leaders in the history books.
