Trying out a new art style, hope you guys enjoy it. Phoenix: This spunky girl is half RainWing, half SkyWing. Her mother, Opal, is a professional RainWing treetop racer. Her father, Eagle, is a SkyWing architect and the distant nephew of Queen Garnet. Phoenix is quite fast for her age of six years old, and her spectacular wings are often the cause of jealousy from other dragonets. She cannot change her scale color, but her wings and ruff will change hue slightly if she experiences a strong emotion. She can breathe fire, and the smoke is a corrosive substance, which makes it deadly to breathe in. Unlike most RainWings, she, although her scales will dull quite a bit, is able to function perfectly fine without exposure to the sun for a while. Orbweaver: Orbweaver is a shy and quiet SilkWing. She is actually rather kind and humorous once she considers you a friend. She is a Flamesilk, but was cut out of her cocoon early by a HiveWing named Ladybird. Because of this, her wings are not developed well. The reason she was cut out of her cocoon is because Queen Wasp, learning of her Flamesilk, tried to abduct her but was met with an empty shell instead, thanks to Ladybird. Orbweaver worked for Ladybird and had a very close relationship with her. Only Wasp, Ladybird, and herself knew of her Flamesilk. One day, Ladybird smuggled Orbweaver through the Pyrtala Tunnels, a network of tunnels that lead from a secret base in Jewel Hive to the island nearest to the mainland in the Bay of a Thousand Scales. Orbweaver now lives as not only a spokesdragon for the SilkWings' problems on Pantala, but also a point of study for the Pyrrhian dragons to learn about SilkWings. Skua: Skua, or Prince Skua, to be exact, is a SeaWing animus. He carries a small pouch around his neck that can hold anything in it but still weighs the same as if it were empty. The pouch is also enchanted to destroy his physical form instead of his soul whenever he casts a spell. He is the world's biggest nervous wreck and will blame himself if even the tiniest thing goes wrong. Curiously, the dusty remains of his foot always hang around his wound. He is known for creating the Pyrtala Tunnels and the Cyclone Opal, a gemstone that will bring a ferocious storm upon hostile dragons, but will not affect anyone with peaceful intentions. Said opal resides in his pouch until the SeaWings choose a queen. He has one egg, which he, and the rest of the tribe, hope beyond hope will hatch into a suitable heir.
