Welcome to the planet of Zephledon. From afar the planet looks like earth, only with no green. In place where all the green continents are appear there to be sand colored mounds in the shapes of continents. All these strange traits make Zephledon a mystery to the neighboring planet. Once ones spaceship is in the atmosphere things get even stranger. When in earth you expect to plummet down to the oceans or land, here you stay unmoving. As if you were entering a body of water. Which Is, in fact, the case. No matter how high or low you go in the atmosphere of Zephledon the waters pressure is exactly the same. The aliens that live here appear to be what humans fantasize of as mermaids but they have gills. Gills, that as seen in fish, help them breathe. The aliens generally have pale milky skin with a strange sparkly glow to it. Their hair, dark and long, resembles sea kelp. The females of the species have larger eyes and lips, and don’t have colorful tales like the males do. Whilst males have bright green, bright blue, or even rainbow tails, females have more pale colors. For example, when a male is trying to attract a male, he goes up against the other males in a competition to find the sunniest spot within a mile. The male with the shiniest tale, due to being under the suns light, gets his pick at a mate. History The creatures have always lived on Zephledon, they evolved from small crill that lived in fear from the great whales that swam the sea. They grew big enough so they were no longer threatened by the whales. Then they eventually became the mermaid-like creatures they are now. Cities were built out of coral and marble that was harvested. There is a huge castle where the royal family lives, and the rest of the city is for businesses and houses. Royal family The first queen was Queen Zeph, hence the name of the planet. The following is the order of the Queens and Kings since the first one. Queen Zeph King Leo King Englen Queen Aspen Queen Holly King Haze Queen Jess King Ollie King Moss King Theo Queen Jesabel (present) Creatures Among some of the creatures that live in this remarkable planet. There are a few that are simply amazing. For example, the Oephleion is a half horse, half fish creature. All transportation, from the carriages of the royal family to the basic traveling needs of a commoner. These creatures are responsible for it. The Elbidor is a other type creature. These creatures are what most Zephelons use for their everyday life. Made of water but with a mass that can move things, these creatures can do anything from working as search engines to being librarians. Due to their amazing memory they can answer any question a Zephelon would have. Other creatures include all the water creatures one could imagine. From the smallest krill to even a sea monster.
