She is very young, only just born. Mer-lifes are born fully grown and don't have a childhood. They look like children all their 500-year-long lives, no matter how young or old they actually are. Miku is a fascinating, fascinated, and deeply curious young merlife, the first in 20,000 years. That's right, she's alone in the sea, and she is looking for something she can talk to or play with, someone to help her feel not so alone... maybe another mer-life. Will she find one?
