-- info -- 1. The prompt for week one was to write about a planet and describe it in 500+ words. I decided to go for a second person piece for the effect of really understanding what's going on there. Um...yeah that's it lol. 2. explanation of each picture clockwise!! ( starting at top right ) The picture of the butterfly with "be brave" symbolizes how brave Maddie has to be to withstand the power of the Elders and their army of Advisors. The butterfly is the symbol of the rebellion against their rule. The picture of the guitar symbolizes Maddie's love for music, the picture of the beach represents the time Cole took Maddie to the beach ( her favorite memory ), and the rose picture symbolizes her love for art when she was younger, that got her in trouble. The collage ( press space ) basically represents everything in Maddie's life. Maddie is a sweet angel, pink is the color of the butterfly, love ( caddie ) is selfless ( maddie is very selfless ). The Eiffel Tower doesn't symbolize anything more than love, the singer represents music, the roses represent the Elders ( it's their symbol ) , the " His opinion does not define you " basically symbolizes that Females do not have to be under Males, the beach again, and the risk of loving someone. -- fun fact -- i coded the whole thing and it didn't save >:((((((((
