Name: Bilumeon Species: Ancient Pokemon Type: Rock, Light Evolves From: Eevee About: Long ago, a group of four Eevee entered a cave high in the mountains of an island, known as Dusk Island. When they arrived, they immediately started looking for food. They went really far into the cavern, and eventually reached a destined place of a large reflecting pool of water, like a cave lake, and slightly illuminated blue crystals. The bravest of the Eevee stepped forward and drank from the pool of water. The others watched as the crystals illuminated, and his fur flashed white. One crystal was sucked from its place in the rocks, and shot down toward the Eevee. When the Eevee had fallen and the crystals were dark again, his fur had become a deep red. Nothing else was visible, until he stood up. Bright red crystals shown all over him, and his curious brown eyes had become illuminated red orbs. He watched as more crystals fell on the other Eevee, one by one, and they all changed. They looked at each other strangely. They were blue, but... they realized that he had been a shiny. They pranced about, trying to figure out what they were, and as they did, they chimed like icicles in the wind. Unfortunately, the cave was closed off to the public due to complaints of rockslides on tours, and they were known as the lost Eeveelution. But every year, an Eevee wonders up to the cave, and if they have correct intentions, will find the cave of the Bilumeon, and they, too, will join the clan. Facts: - There are only 60 known Bilumeon alive today, and 2 of them are known to be shiny. But many more have passed in the cave. - They tone down their light when they sleep to blend into the cave. - When they die, their light is shut off completely, and the crystalized spirit forms another crystal in the cavern. - If the spirit was a shiny before it passed, the Eevee it chooses becomes a shiny. Shiny Eevee remain shiny however. - The crystals in their fur can weaken as they age.
Their name, if you didn't know, is derived from the word bioluminescence, which is the production of radiating light from a living organism. Some of the inspiration for this Eeveelution came from playing Animal Jam's adventure, The Mystery Below, in which you have to recover a lost city, later known as Balloosh. I actually wasn't thinking, and exited the page before I made the backstory, which is why I have no shiny counterpart to show, I'm sorry. Art belongs to me.
