The song is “Someone You Like,” By, The Girl And The Dreamcatcher. (It’s kinda like they’re theme song, will explain why below, and fun facts about them both below that!!) Reedfur knows Echoclaw can help herself and doesn’t REALLY need him, but still wants to be there for her. He knows he can’t be her hero, but still wants to make her smile and laugh. He also knows that he can’t force her to stay and doesn’t try, letting her make her own choices. Echoclaw didn’t like Reedfur at first, but after a while came to like him back. She was always an adventurous soul and loved to move around, but she won’t leave him now. She knows that she can’t be the family Reedfur never had, but is willing to be a new family to him. Both were very different when they first met, but have since changed in ways that they are both happy with, and they feel those new ways have improved their old selves (ex: Reedfur now gives cats a bit more personal space, Echoclaw is more accepting and not as vicious). They both know that the other doesn’t need them, but still wants to be there, because it makes each a better person/cat. Fun facts!!! - Reedfur sucks at tracking. - Echoclaw is half-clan. - Echoclaw considering bringing their kits to the farmland and still is, thinking they’ll be safer there. - Reedfur is so playful and happy when he meets new cats because he thinks that is he can’t have a mother and father he can have amazing friends. - Echoclaw is reminded of her siblings when she crosses a monster-path. - Reedfur was an only kit, raised by multiple queens- he has no clue who his parents are. - Echoclaw is from a litter of 6, only her (and maybe 2 others who were taken by two legs) are still alive. - Reedfur is strong but not very intelligent, and Echoclaw is intelligent but not very strong. - Reedfur’s favorite prey is salmon, and his least favorite is nothing- literally nothing, this cat will eat anything as long as it’s food. - Echoclaw’s favorite prey is squirrel, and her least favorite is frog. - Echoclaw is a melanistic tabby. - Reedfur wanted to be deputy as a kit, but now doesn’t mind, as long as he has his family. - Reedfur has scar tissue on his throat, where fur won’t grow in the shape of a bite that was from a fox.
These are my OCs, Echoclaw (the black tabby she-cat) And Reedfur (the red-brown Tom with yellow eyes being a goof), the art is in no way mine and I have one made minor changes in the coloration and/or designs to fit my characters.
