Get the candy to the Omnom while collecting as many stars as possible. Move the candy by slowly pressing and dragging your mouse to cut the ropes holding it up. Stretched ropes will turn red, and act like elastic. Rings will automatically create ropes when the candy enters their vicinity.
All rights to ZeptoLab's Cut The Rope. All scripts are written by me. Most sprites (except the play and restart buttons, the candy, and the title screen) created by me in Inkscape. I referenced the Scratch Wiki on how to solve for exponents, to get a nice looking colour effect on the ropes with an asymptote of 10, and used Desmos Graphing Calculator to help debug the exponential function. It was really fun problem-solving to find a way to recreate realistic rope (or in this case elastic) physics in code. It took a while to write all the script, and I probably spent way too much time developing the Omnom's aesthetics, but overall I'm pretty proud of this. This project was mostly made to see if I could do it, but if enough people show me they like it by commenting or hearting the project, then I might make more levels. We'll see.
