Beaglekit, Colliekit, and Poodlekit were born to Barksong, a ThunderClan queen late one Leaf-bare. They were not supposed to be born until spring, but were born small and sickly as a result. Their father was not officially mates with their mother, and they grew further apart after they found out they would have kits. Both, though, took pride in their three daughters. However, Colliekit and Poodlekit grew sick along with their exhausted mother and died, a moon after their birth. Beaglekit's father was distraught. Then came the time where Beaglekit would become an apprentice. Early on in her training, she was bitten by an adder in her attempt to leave her clan. her at the base of her tail, infecting it and permanently paralyzing her back left leg. Upon hearing of this, her father renamed her "Stumpypaw," after the state of her tail. Afterwards, they identified themself as genderfluid, not settling on male or female as a definite identity.
