c H a P t E r 2 ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀ (PoV; Alexa - 1st Person) I groaned, stomping, kicking any nearby branches. Stupid dream! I just couldn't *wait* to wake up. Every single step I took, I felt like I was going to fly... Yet I resisted the urge to. **My brain thinks pulling tricks is funny? Well, think again, brain!** I thought, muttering inside my head, then (without knowing) almost running into three girls. We stared at each other for a long while. One had dark, tan skin, with long wavy hair that was messily tied into a ponytail. Another was quite tall with dark brown hair and almost pitch-black eyes. The last one had long brown hair, with wide gray-blue eyes and a horrified look. "Who are you? Why are you in my dream?" I snapped, rolling my eyes, "Never mind, that doesn't matter. Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" I scanned the one with gray-blue eyes in disgust, scowling. I wanted to wake up so. Badly. "Hey, back off," the tall one with dark brown eyes snapped, casting an uneasy glance behind her. "And, uh, just to let you know," the girl the tan skin mumbled, "This isn't a dream." Well that was weird. I never had a dream where someone told me it *wasn't* a dream. And these people seemed awfully real... I pinched myself. And let me tell you, it *hurt*. "So I'm *not* dreaming," I whispered, and each of the three girls nodded. There was a long moment of silence where I stifled a scream, then looked back at the other three girls. "Well, then? Who are you? Why are you here? How did I get here?" "I'm Peachy, this is Minty, and this is Shade," the girl who had spoken first said, glancing at me skeptically, "and we don't know why we're here- Or why you're here, for that matter." "Oh really?" I snorted, "Seems kind-of odd that-" I was interrupted by a rustle in the bushes as a boy stepped out. He was very tall, with brown hair and cold brown eyes. "Ah. I see I finally get to meet you."
