Flaggio ((WARNING: I"M NOT A GOOD WRITER, SORRY T^T)) So I needed a design for Pomegranete's older sister, and I came across this one. It's perfect for Grapefruit. There will be a few pictures, sorry. I just really liked the idea of this character. The bittersweet childhood she shared with Pomegranate flooded her senses, and she found herself realizing just how much the two's lives were intertwined. Yet, she was bitter about her father's leaving, and Pomegranate still seemed to love him despite all the pain they'd both gone through. Pommie still had faith in him, even with all those times their father had disappointed them. Her mind wandered to all her memories of their family's interactions, and she suddenly felt her heart ache. She'd grown up so fast. Pommie had grown up so fast. It all had gone by so fast. She couldn't help but miss it. (I'm still working on shading fur k I'm not that good at it yet ;^;) The second one: When Pommie was younger, Grapefruit had an accident at work where her eye was injured. Unfortunately, her boss forced her to continue to work for enough money to pay the medical bills. She needed the money not only for food, household things, and rent, but she needed enough money to cover her surgery. She was stressed, and working herself to the bone. That's when Pommie got the idea to get popsicles and just have a day of hanging out at the local fair. It took a lot of convincing to get Grapefruit to come, but she did in the end. The free day was exactly what she needed, and the next day she was already healing. From then on, Pommie and his Grapefruit got popsicles every weekend and talked about how their week went.
I'm still working on the backstory/bio for her specifically, since I'm also not done with Pomegranate's backstory either. But it should be done soon. She has only one wing, just to clarify. Grapefruit/21/female/Half-dragon, half fox like the rest of her siblings. Her dad was a dragon, and her mother was a fox. Only her step siblings aren't their exact half-mix. Being a half-breed is pretty common in their universe. What's more common is being a mix of many species. Interbreeding is very common, and purebreds are very rare/Her family consist of her mother (Orange), her father (Tamarind), her 2 twin little sisters (Strawberry and Apricot) and her brother (Pomegranate). Shortly after her father walked out on them for the 5th time, their mother decided to just divorce him and let him go this time. The first time he'd left, she was broken down inside. But all of the things he put her through and how much he disappeared in the blink of an eye made her bitter. Her patience was gone, and she cut him out of her life. A few weeks after the divorce, Orange met a very kind man. At first, she didn't trust him, but she learned to be open again. After going through the flighty relationship with Tamarind, she just expected the man to show his true colors immediately and leave her. To her surprise, he didn't. He was responsible, but gentle and kind. His charm caused Orange to soon fall in love with him after being friends for a while. He'd fallen in love with her too, and they got married. The man had 1 kid from a previous relationship that had gone abusive (Blueberry), and he had a child with Orange a few months after they got married (Peach). The man's name was "Fig", for clarification. So that's their whole family haha. Sorry I'm writing this all out now, I'm just figuring out their family dynamic now/Grapefruit is single, and is still figuring out exactly what she is. Possibly asexual, I dunno yet. She's stayed clear of relationships because of what happened to her mom/I dunno what else to explain haha ;^; If you have any questions or any problems, I'll answer what I can and fix what I can.
