Hollow lives his life away from other wilaks for the most part, a rich man tucked away in an isolated home built into a stone spire not high enough to be impossible to reach without wings, but high enough that it's effort to get to. Most wilaks who learn about it never get believed. The others, well, they're busy being a part of the work. Hollow comes across as merely unpleasant to others and apathetic towards their emotions, but hidden under that is a fierce dedication to the thirst to learn, even if, in order to learn, he has to experiment in unethical ways. What led him to this point is unclear, Hollow is less than enthused about the idea of sharing things about his life, but one thing is well known about Hollow: he cares for nobody, be they banished or royalty, and he has nobody else with him in his home in the stone of the 13th Sector, aside from the tax collectors when they come around. What isn't known publicly is that he does have someone he cares about, even if he denies it to anyone else. A rich man on the brink of the safe section of Sector 13 around the capital, tucked away in his isolated home, experimenting on the creatures of the world and how they can affect the others, and, in the corners of his mind that he likes to ignore, wanting for his assistant and friend to come back where he can see her again. The past is in the past. All that matters is the future. And debating ethical implications of work is unproductive, and does not advance the research.
