Welcome to Octo's Journey, a platformer in which you must help a little lost octopus find his way home! Run right and left using the < and > arrow keys. Jump with the up arrow key. If you pick up a power-up (Fire, Ice, or Mini - they look like stars), use it with the space bar. Different enemies are susceptible to different attacks! Don't run into enemies or the edge of the screen! While the intro/story is playing, you can toggle fast or slow mode with Q key! You cannot change modes during a run, so decide at the beginning. It automatically starts on slow. Oh, and one last thing: BEWARE THE KRAKEN.
Most of the code is mine; the platforming script was adapted from @griffpatch_tutor 's platformer tutorial. I also had some help and advisement from @jbear911 (my sister!) Power-ups were loosely inspired by the Super Mario Bros. series.
