The Stuffed Bunny The large stuffed bunny that perched on the shelf in a bedroom belonged to the young girl that inhabit the room. The bunny had white fur with small curls and notably large ears, and wore an overall dress and a matching hat. It’s eyes were pitch black and glittered with life, although the stuffed bunny was just that, stuffed. It was quite old, and it’s denim dress was missing one of the metal buttons, but the girl loved it all the same. Perhaps she loved the rabbit more for its imperfections. Such is the mind of a child. Often they ignore small mistakes or things that aren’t quite right, and focus more on the sentiment. On days the girl felt sad she would take the bunny from the shelf and hug her sadness away. The stuffed rabbit provided a shoulder to cry on when her parents were yelling just downstairs. For years the loyal rabbit was a source of comfort to the small girl, and will continue to be for many more.
