The weather mirrored his feelings and FlutterWing knew that he needed to make an effort to make himself better than he was. Weak, pathetic, useless and worthless, that's what they called him. He needed to try his best at flying even though he was weak. The next day he opened his eyes and his legs propelled themselves outside to the edge of a cliff. "Ok, let's try this." He thought to himself. FlutterWing heard a sound that stunned him with pain and then he felt a push behind him. The stunned creature knew that he was not going to make it as he fell through endless rocks with the serene waters beneath him. Flutterwing closed his eyes. That was when a miracle happened...
