In mode 1 you can drag the cat around and use the space bar to toggle inside and outside. In mode 2 you can only use the inside, and you can click on a total of 7 objects. You cannot drag the cat in this mode. This is veryveryvery glitchy. If all the items appear when you click the flag, you can keep on clicking the flag until they disappear or press space.
