I stretched, sighing softly, and patted my dog, Daisy, who was sleeping on my bed, right in the middle. My dog, Daisy, was a golden retriever, and so, while I was sleeping, it was so easy for me to be kicked or licked by her, and every other day, squashed by her when she wanted to sleep on top of me. I changed out of my sleeping clothes, went to brush my teeth, and I walked downstairs to the dining room, where my dog was waiting for me. I sighed, and ate some cereal I had poured for myself, but, I don’t really understand the use of cereal anymore. Maybe because I’ve grown up, but I don’t really know. I sighed, and trudged back to my room unhappily, wanting to rest for more, but I had to go to school, sooner or later, even if I hated it. No one wanted to play with me, since I’m boring, and for some reason else, and the bullies in the classroom tease me, and there are 3 bullies to be exact. The most popular girl, Rachel, teases me, and never lets me play the games they play, but in my opinion, they’re disgusting games, and I don’t really want to play it, but my so called friend, Anna, she’s in the what you call the “popular group” with Rachel, so I have no choice but to ask everytime, and get a no from Rachel as response. Life was horrible, if you ask me. I packed up my bag, and set of to Anna’s home, so we could ride her mom’s car to the school. Once I got there, Anna opened the door for me, talking excitedly about a new game the “popular group” would be playing, and that maybe I would be able to join, but I doubted that. I sighed, ignoring her, but Anna said excitingly, “Still, Lisa, I asked Rachel, and she said, ‘Perhaps.’” I sighed, “Doesn’t she say that everytime?” Anna frowned, but brightened up once again, “Still, she said it more enthusiastically.” I sighed, and muttered to myself, not loud enough for Anna to hear, “Yeah, she just wants to break my heart once again.” Anna’s mom drove her car over, and I got on the car with Anna. Once we got to school, just like I thought, Rachel was in front of the school doors, chatting with her best friend, Grace, perhaps planning on how to make me cry. Anna picked up her bag from the car seat next to her, and ran over to where Rachel and Grace were, not glancing back to look at me. I sighed, and trudged into my classroom, feeling left out again. Anna always said we were friends, but we never stayed together, not including when we were in the same car... She played with the popular group, ate with the popular group, went to one of the popular group’s member’s house to play with... She didn’t feel like a real best friend, not even a friend. I opened my backpack, taking out a pencil, and doing some math problems, since I was so bored. ————————————————————————— After so many classes: math, language arts, and Spanish, finally, recess time came, but I wasn’t too excited. Rose pulled me over with a strange glint in her eyes I didn’t understand, but I ignored it. Rose pulled me to where the popular group played, it kind of turned into their territory, and she pulled me right in front to the leader of the group: Rachel, of course. She bowed down, muttered something like ‘your majesty,’ and walked away, still bowed down, until Rachel couldn’t see her anymore, and she walked to her position right next to Rachel, which was weird, since she used to be in the back, but I shrugged that off. Rachel looked at me with a sneer, and said, “Want to join /us/, eh?” I nodded timidly, clenching my fists together. Rachel looked away, and turned her pretty blue eyes back to me, and flipped her hair, “Ah, I’m afraid we don’t have space, for a little girl like you.” I clenched my fists tighter, and she turned her gaze to Anna, “Go send her to play something else, and do the... plan.” I looked at Rachel and Anna, confused, but Anna just didn’t say a word, only taking me to a small corner, her eyes deeper brown then ever, and snarled, “Lisa. Lisa, Lisa, Lisa.” I flinched back, alarmed, and shook Anna, but Anna pulled away, and stared at me with a look of disgust, and screamed, “You’re ruining my life, Lisa! I’ve only been playing with you since Rachel ordered me too! But it was worth it!” She advanced on me, and I shook her, and yelled, “Stop it, Anna! Rachel’s mean!” Anna panted, “Well, at least she gives me more popularity!” I clenched my hands together, and breathed in and out, “Anna, Rachel... I don’t know how she does it, but she..” Anna glared at me, and ended the fight easily, “I’ll never play with you again, Lisa. Always with Rachel, and the popular group.” Her dark brown eyes met mine for a second, before she walked away. 869 words
