Outline to Keeper and Runes ship rp: Draken and Rune were traveling the desert when they happened to come across a cave. Draken went into the cave to explore and left Rune outside it. Rune growing curious headed in a while later but got lost when trying to find her dad. Keeper brings Draken into his main room and they fight. Keeper kills Draken in the battle. Rune sees her father dead when she comes across the cave and just kinda sits by him not seeing Keeper. Keeper approaches her and they have a conversation in which Rune is compassionate for him but also wary as he did kill her father but wants to help him as he is insane. Rune takes Keepers place even though she knew it might mean she wouldn’t be free ever again. Keeper comes back and frees her and brings her father back to life and Rune leaves and takes him home. Rune comes back to Keeper like she promised she would. Rune leaves to find Cyro to bring back to help free Keeper but Cyro find her first in a town and makes her bring him to Keeper. Keeper defeats Cyro with his voice thingy and puts Rune to sleep with the same thing then leaves with her outside. Rune wakes up in the sand in the shade under a rock and Keeper isn’t to be seen anywhere but shows up a little later happy. They walk for a while until Rune and him get caught by that one girl droid I forgot that isn’t Delta and is based on the brown recluse and she poisons him with a small knife she threw and Rune also got stabbed and then she brings them to her camp and gives Keepe the andtidote and Rune something for pain and Rune convinced her to let them go. Rune and Keeper travel for a while in the desert until Rune gets severely dehydrated and passes out and Keeper finds shade and water for her and takes care of her. They sleep at a stump that night and Rune has a nightmare and he wakes her up and she explains her corruption to him then in a moment of insanity she attacks him and breaks his neck and then snaps back to normal and runs from him but he also snaps back to normal and chases her until she is completely exhausted and he kinda just cradles her in his arms for a while comforting her. They arrive to Morimor and Rune explains her royalty status to him (for the sake of this rp I’m letting Morimor be in the medieval era so I guess it’s an au) and introduces him to Lot and Lot teases them about liking each other. She takes Keeper to Draken to get permission for him to stay in the castle which was given after a fight. She takes Keeper out into the garden to avoid people and Keeper kisses her forehead in a moment of adorable and Rune admits to liking him in that way to. Keeper goes to get permission from Draken to court Rune which he was given after a conversation and then goes back to tell her and she realizes he hasn’t bathed in
6000 years and is completely disgusted and so Keeper goes and does that and changes his clothes before meeting her and the rest of the royal court for dinner. Rune and Keeper kinda hang out at the castle for a while until another battle (I’m making it up here to fill in some gaps and keep it closer to canon) and he fights alongside Rune and helps to take out Sorren so she can be completely free without threat of being further corrupted by him. Rune gets killed in battle and Keeper gives her his soul. Rune wanting Keeper back trades places with Cyro to get him a soul. Keeper upset tries to trade places with her and tries to get her to leave and she refuses because of his mortal soul. Keeper leaves to find another Keeper to take her place and finds another droid or something (Delta) and the droid agrees to take place as Keeper to keep her friend Kudu safe. Rune and Keeper return to Morimor. Soon after Keeper proposes and they are wedded by Draken in the castle courts and Keeper takes Rune back to his world so she can see more of it with him. While there they meet a wandering tribe and one of the guys in it Kudu(?) shows them an underwater river where Keeper has a mental breakdown and Rune comforts him and then he shows her the stars in his world. The next day he brings her to the place Sol and the other spirits live to see if he can make his home there with her. Sol happy his creation is no longer insane and surprised he was wedded let’s him stay there with Rune. Delta gets free and Keeper has to return and Rune despite not being fond of the cave goes with him (Keepers soul became immortal again and Runes is lengthened quite a bit from Keepers that he gave her).A year and a halfish later Asad was born and Keeper is beyond excited about this. They raise Asad in the cave until he is 13 in which the cave tries to kill him. Keeper and Rune find him sleeping in a room and they start to talk and Keeper tells Rune a bunch of things he had been keeping to himself and Rune once Asad wakes up, leaves with him back to Morimor. They lived there for 7 years, Keeper went back to his old ways after a few years. At 20 Asad goes to find his father and explore the world he was born in. He gets Keeper to remember both himself and Rune after a little while and then takes Keepers place so he could go find Rune. Rune, severely depressed from being apart from her husband for so long and guilty from leaving him was sleeping under a tree in the garden when he found her. They apologize and such and Keeper carries her for a while until he is tired again and then they just teleport home and free Asad again. Over the next few decades Asad gets married and has children that he brings occasionally to see Rune and Keeper in the cave and over time Asad and his kids pass away and it’s just Rune and Keeper again. A couple centuries later, Rune begins to pass away as well and in a desperate attempt to save her Keeper becomes what he was originally meant to be, an emotionless guardian of the keys. Rune fully alive again has to get him to remember (Sol is involved with getting Keeper to let her stay in the cave) and eventually In a desperate attempt she uses her energy to break the walls in his mind and he remembered again, though it took a toll on Runes strength and left her hands shaky. There’s a lot of really sweet moments and Keeper brings up the fact he is fading and wants to die in the sun then there are some more sweet moments. Rune falls asleep again and Keeper carries her through the tunnel she had covered in drawings over the many years until he reached the end which was a single blank wall and started to cry. Rune wakes up to this and comforts him and he decides he is ready to go (their souls are conjoined at this point and Runes is quite unstable- Keeper dies she dies-). Rune makes a final drawing of a sunset on the blank wall and then it splits onto two, a stairway leading up into light is formed and Keeper holds a key in his hand that belongs to them both. They go up and out of it and Keeper calls out for Sol who says his goodbyes to them then brings them to Morimor again. In a clearing in a field surrounded by trees, they say a final goodbye to one another and tearily kiss each other farewell, and as they key cracks and the world fades away the last thing they see is the other before all goes dark and they die...
