Fullscreen, green flag, then right and left arrows. (These are in vector, and they get kinda pixellated in non-fullscreen) I realize that Cail kinda blends into the background at top and bottom, which works with her shadowy motif but she'll likely stand out more with the in-game background. I tried to have three distinct color palettes and geometries for the three characters, though Iskra ends up looking kind of like Cail's wings but orange. Iskra would probably be more visually interesting with some animation, for example small flames or sparks trailing behind her as she moves. This was a fun character design exercise--I'd already done some preliminary work on Cail for Isle of Dolor but the other two are brand new. With LOXOS I just kinda started drawing and decided what the rest of the body would look like as I went, so it started out as a robot samurai, then randomly got spider legs, and eventually the violin motif.
Thanks to @Dad76 / @totally_not_hexplore for inviting me to make art for an upcoming game! Art made in Scratch Vector Editor. Music arranged by me as well, though I'm not the composer of the original. As mangled as it is, you can probably guess what it's based on.
