I don’t know how, but I felt wide awake. I looked at the battered old clock hanging on the wall. It’s 3 a.m. in the morning. I sat up. I got to the bathroom. The reflection from the mirror shows a teenage girl with very messy hair. I smiled weakly at her. She smiled at me, the dark shadows under her eyes seemed darker than ever before...... I flopped back into bed and curled up in my blanket, my eyes stayed wide open. I though it's another sleepless night after all. I don't know how, but I eventually closed my eyes and fell asleep... * * * * * * * It's Saturday. I woke up to find that it's already noon. Mom and dad was already gone. I took a piece of toast on the table and got back to my room. I picked up the novel lying open on the ground and started reading. I don't know how, but I finished the novel in no time, although I don't really remember what I've read. My mind already drifted away.
