Most recent update: This is kind of cool, but I feel some missed opportunity with the story and the programming is kind of bad and old in a few ways. I may rework this, but there's only going to be two levels at most, and more ambitious features like moving enemies or the level editor probably won't happen. Christopher the AI is new to his job, so please don't be too surprised if he makes some strange moves sometimes. Most of the music is from Shining Force and Fire Emblem, but there are three custom songs: the player phase theme, the enemy phase theme, and the boss theme. They were all done with garageband and are also kind of old Oh yeah; and one of the talking noises (the default one) is from Egnaro's Adventure. Scattered SRPG IDEAS: Units have four stats: STRENGTH, SAGE, GUILE, and HEART. They have different functions. At the end of a unit's turn it can pick "Guard" on one side instead of attacking. Crits occur when you attack against a unit's guard. Make weapon types more distinct; Swords are brave, axes always crit, lances have 1-2 range, bows lower enemy stats Magic is untradable, expensive, and low use; "medics" heal when rescuing Karien appears as an enemy later but you can mind control him with an expensive spell; this affects the story too Shapeshifters don't transform before getting critted
