—QUINLAN— Species- Legend Amara Animal Form- Winged Kitsune Legend?- Yes Gender- Non-binary (Genderless) Allegiance- Shadows Bringers Rank- Assistant Personality- Cool and charismatic, this Amara can stay calm even in the midst of battle. They believe that the Legend Amara deserve control over the entire Amara population, and thinks of any standard Amara as low-ranked and dirty. They look up to Cerin the most, and can usually be seen sitting at the dragon Amara’s side, fulfilling their every need. Backstory- Quinlan started as an ordinary fox Amara, before they saw the Legend Amara and their great power. They decided they wanted to hold the same power, and disappeared into the woods. They were later found sprawled out on the ground in a comatose, twitching every so often. They were taken back to an Amara den to heal. They stayed in that comatose for weeks on end, until the others assumed they were dead. They took their body to a clearing and buried it, though many questions arose on why they were not fading, and instead dying like a human would. These questions remained unanswered as they left the clearing, with Quinlan still buried under a foot-thick layer of dirt. The next day, a curious, young, ferret Amara crept up to the mound of dirt, the unanswered question stuck in it’s head. Why wasn’t this Amara fading? Or was it just fading slowly? It began to push away the dirt, before the ground suddenly collapsed beneath it. The ferret Amara quickly scrambled to safe ground, then looked up in awe. A grey-furred, nine-tailed Legend Amara had burst from the ground, leaving a large crevasse in the ground on it’s wake. The ferret Amara’s eyes widened as two icy words slipped from the newcomer’s mouth. “Remember me?” The ferret Amara quickly rushed back to the den, announcing that Quinlan was alive. And.... different. The other Amara, confused about how a Standard Amara could convert to a Legend like that, rushed to the clearing. They were greeted by the open crevasse in which Quinlan had been buried, but not the calm face of the Amara. For he had left to take his place among the rest of the Legend Amara, leaving their home behind in search of a better life, and more power. Though Quinlan is satisfied with his new form, his body is not. He frequently “glitches,” causing his voice to sound rather robotic. It doesn’t hurt them much, but it creates headaches and horrible cramps, and worst of all, the inability to feed of Fear. They have discovered that though they lost their fear-eating ability, they also unlocked the ability to feed off dreams. They eat the nightmares of children, but rarely ever eat the good dreams. They think of humans like crops, and they must let humans prosper by giving them good dreams, else they may stop dreaming, or worse, stop fearing the dark much to early. Quinlan claims that is the only reason, though they secretly like humans, especially the children. They know children hate nightmares, so they eat them, therefor giving themself more energy and giving the child peaceful sleep. They secretly desire to one day have a pet human child.
