Click the green flag. 7 concentric circles are drawn. This repeats 3 times forever.
Notice that each circle is drawn with a whole, 1/16, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/5 or 1/3 size arches. Turn off Turbo Mode to see each circle as it is drawn and confirm that each is a complete circle. In the student copy, students find a way to make 7 different circles using already created fraction blocks. Each circle they create must start and stop on the black center/radius line sprite. They use that black sprite as a check to make sure the fractions they used add to one whole. A student copy is found at: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/170096184 If your students need accommodations use this link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/170059872 It has partial scripts prepared. Student only need to choose a fraction and decide on input for the repeat block.
