The N1 is the second-tallest, and most powerful rocket ever. However, it only flew four times, and every one exploded. :( The Soviets never made it to the moon, as the N1 project was cancelled. The Saturn V is the tallest and second most powerful rocket. It flew 13 times, launched successfully all 13 times. However, Apollo 6 was a partial failure, because an issue in the second stage (S-II) caused the Apollo spacecraft to enter an irregular orbit. Apollo 13 is considered a success, as the service module failed, not the launch system.
