first thing, you must click on what you want to click. if it doesn't work the first time you click on the text, just click on a different letter until you get it. afterwards, click on the image to grow your score. there's no goal, just see how many points you can get. as it states, you can press r to change what you're clicking without losing your score. if you want to totally reset your score, simply press the green flag.
