Name: Mida Personality: Calm, quiet, clever Gender: Female Likes: Cosy places, basking in the sun, gold resistent food (if that is a thing) Dislikes: Turning stuff to gold, scruffy fur, anything chilly. Story: One day, a kitten was found in a desert temple, alone with no family. She was adopted by a kind old cat called Boots, who lived in the desert. She had a power. She could turn anything she touched to gold. Other people started to notice this power, and start to call her Mida, after the Greek King Midas. She had a name! Then, she started to make friends. They were always asking her to show them her powers and turn their things to gold. Pure gold was very rare and valuable in the desert, but Mida didn’t know. After awhile, her friends started to become greedy. She gave them so much gold they become rich. One day, Boots disappeared and Mida realised her ‘friends’ were only using her for gold, but it was too late. They saw the chance and put her in a garden. There was a huge fence around the garden. The garden was filled with sand models that they wanted her to turn to gold. She did so, being enslaved. They told her if she did what the wanted, they would let her free. Time passed, but they never did. One day, Mida realised their tricks and waited until night. She climbed the fence, and ran away. At day, they soon noticed the fence was gold, and a trail of golden sand... But they never found her. (This is a desert where humans can’t find, and then she went to Egypt) Later the Egyptians found her and believed she was a god, making The belief that all cats where gods. She also made them rich with gold, because she turned their sand sculptures to gold. She then escaped from them and decided to go see the world.
