He role was to give kids their birthday presents. He would usually hide in a huge present and pop out to surprise the kids. One day, the Puppeteer was giving a present to a kid; it was a present that the Puppeteer made himself. The kid opened the present and got a doll that was poorly made. The kid rejected the present and called the Puppeteer names. He was embarrassed that everyone was laughing at his present. The Puppeteer let out a huge screech and took his puppet strings and strangled the kid with it. After the kid suffocated, the Puppeteer stuffed him in a present and left him to rot... At night, the Puppeteer hides under the tables, ready to find you. He has sharp claws and can strangle you with his puppet strings. You can hear his claws screeching, you can also hear "Here is your present!". He also has a jukebox that he plays which means that he's coming for you....
