Stereotypically edgy and obviously inspired off of Undertale, Alexander's original version was probably the worst being to ever exist. Always in a constant back and forth of loving Nathaniel a bit TOO much or hating him like they were mortal enemies, I'm glad that the story of Alexander and Nathaniel had changed and grown from this. Alexander's old personality changed so much I probably even confused myself with how constantly he was changing. One moment he was a typical cold-hearted edgy kid, and the other second he was just a full on anime-type tsundere. Back when I first created Alexander, I was a big Undertale nerd, and had just discovered THAT side of the fandom. I felt a bit hopeless, but wanted to join in on the fun of making AUs. So... I made Identity Crisis. It was really nothing at first, and I normally had spent my time on other AUs I had created, gradually making Identity Crisis versions of everyone, even characters outside of Undertale. Eventually, it grew and developed to how we see it today, with several past versions of each character lingering in their shadows. This just happens to be the first of Alexander's many designs and personalities, and definitely the most edgy. But hey, we all start somewhere, right?
(Note: As you'll notice, the art isn't as good as my usual art and has no shading. Despite what you may think, this is on purpose. I tried to imitate the old art style I used to have back when I first drew Alexander, but granted the art I have here is still a LOT better. Also yeah, back then Alexander was a skeleton, not a skeleton-hybrid like he is now.) Music, slight animation, and art all created and designed by @Sunjesgurzt.
