The much more improved and polished version of my old game, The Orb. It's mostly a platformer, but a lot of the game is based on your ability to navigate the Orb. (The last level took so long to actually verify, jesus.) In general, I worked on this project on/off for a while, so I didn't want to delay any further. Plus, I'm too lazy to do much more, I've already spent ages fine-tuning things (and yet there are probably still plenty of bugs). I hope it's successful, at least, so all my effort won't be in vain. Looking back, the previous Orb game was so scuffed, I did everything with color collision, even walls. A lot of bugs I found were ones I had no idea how to fix, so I just went with it, like sticking to walls. I just passed it off as an intentional part of the game when in reality it was just a bug. You know, The Orb originally started when I tried to make a grappling hook. How I am now, I could probably make it if I tried, but back then, not so much. Eventually, I gave up trying to make a grappling hook, but I already committed so much that I might as well try to scrap it, right? Thus, The Orb was made. Well, the idea of guiding a projectile to teleport you is much more unique than a generic grappling hook game, so I guess it worked out in the end. 12/13/24 - got bored so i was going through my old stuff, man this got butchered by updates lol theres so many bugs now. not like im gonna try and fix em anymore but regardless still proud of this one
