20th April 2020: yes you can't go down the pipe 19th February 2020: Time is saved from 45.833 to 40.8 as 151 frames were unnecessary, saving 5.033 seconds of time. This is a TAS. Visit here for more information (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tool-assisted_speedrun) Press [SPACE] to see stats and TAS itself. The TAS has 6 letters corresponding to the keys which are only used in the speedrun. How is it done? I have manipulated the X speed so that reaches its maximum limit. This may count as cheating as I have modified it but this was to stop the movement being very random so it follows a strict pattern. I played the game myself and it appends data which includes detection then it runs what I played. The TAS includes wall clipping which is actually humanly possible. The exact time (for TAS) can be found by knowing how many frames there are in this TAS and how many frames Scratch runs per second, which is 30. Is it possible that time could be saved? Yes, if I don't bump where I control Mario at the flagpole; - Better wall clip in 1-2 - Better flagpole landing in both demo levels (1-1 and 1-2) All will save TAS time below 40 seconds
