Please don't view in full screen. :-) If you want a basic overview of Monty Python, here is a CBS news story released on the day of the anniversary https://www.cbsnews.com/video/monty-pythons-flying-circus-celebrates-50th-anniversary/ 50 years ago, on October 5th, a 30 minute, British sketch show would change the world of comedy forever. It slowly gained popularity as a TV show, then started to make movies, then live shows spanning across several countries. This was of course Monty Python, which was created by John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones, and animator Terry Gilliam. Monty Python has always had a special place in my heart, so when I found out that their 50th anniversary was coming up, I decided to make a animated tribute for them! (In England, they celebrated by having a attempt of breaking a world record for most people dressed up as Mr. Gumby is one place, but I'm American so I couldn't go. I celebrated by working on this project, watching "And Now For Something Completely Different", and eating a popsicle.) I know that it is very late to share is project, but it took a long time to make. :) If you can name all of the sketches in this project without seeing inside, I will either follow (if I'm not already) or love and favorite your projects. :D I couldn't fit all of the sketchs in the project, but I tried to include some iconic ones and some of my personal favorites. :) Music is "Dancing in the Moonlight" by King harvest. I picked this song instead of the theme song because I thought this went along really well with the art and animations went easily to the rhythm of the song. All art and animations by me! Fonts are from Scratch and Google. #montypython #animation #art .
