Round 1 entry :) Sometimes throughout the cave people swore they could hear the laughter echoing from where Kai would have been impaled by rocks again or the screams of joy from a screaming competition which would always result in Astoria being separated from one of her beloved due to most people not being able to sleep from the incredibly loud screeching. Irene didn’t even know her that well but even she missed the snaps of the camera or the goofy smile. There was definitely a hole in the cave from where Ollie’s stand offish, touch me and I’ll you’ll have a twig that looks like you shoved in your face demeanour was missing. Safire Quantum Frisk and X all were starting to move on, accepted the fate that met the cheerful child who had insisted on having 5 rings on her 6th finger that had fallen off soon after her demise. It was almost closure for them when they had to glue it back on. It had been a sombre affair despite the jokey action. Soon after they discovered the shrine she had. While it brought up memories they remembered what Ollie would’ve wanted them to do. She’d want them to be happy and continue being absolutely adorable. In quantum and Frisks case she’d want them to be cinnamon buns still and stay like that forever. The shrine was still being updated. Storm hadn’t taken it well and soon after she had left to return to her home AU unable to deal with all the negativity surrounding the place. She would go back she told herself, she just needed a second or two with her mates to calm down. She intended to go back she truly did but the one time she did she had dealt with a stroppy (as per usual) Quantum a crying Astoria and Kai refusing to let anyone he didn’t know talk to anyone. It made sense she guessed, that was how Ollie got killed but holy cows were it getting annoying. She only managed to stay for a day trusting that they’d be there for each other. She knew it was wishful thinking and that she was being selfish but Storm just couldn’t handle it. Did jelly generate fluff? That would be enough. So Storm stays curled up next to her mates tearing herself apart for not seeking revenge and not being there. For not helping Olie try and heal and for not helping those she loved get over it. Storm is tearing herself apart with guilt while telling herself it’s fine. She’s fine. Astoria, Kai and Irene might of taken it the worse. It had been on one of her visits. She’d gone out on one of her walks, like always. No one batted an eyelid she always did that. Then she had poofed by Astoria screaming in pain. The next few minutes were hectic as Astoria called anyone and everyone until she noticed Ollie had succumbed to sleep. Minutes later she was declared dead. It was truly horrible. Quantum and X confirmed she was too far dead to be revived. No one had a clue how it had happened over than the wound right where her lung was. Kai and Irene and rushed there when they heard and the three of them just sobbed for days straight. Despite now needing it, Astoria wouldn’t eat and Kai wouldn’t be near anyone and Irene wasn’t sleeping, When they did it was around the corpse of their previous lover. As per in Olies will (no one knew she wrote one but they rolled with it) a rock took her place in the IKEA polymory. That was the last time they laughed. Watching them now you’re filled with despair. Astoria, Kai and Irene are all awake in one corner of a cave hugging missing the way Olie would have cameras out or be snuggling with Astoria since it was ‘her time to cuddle’ They missed it, they really did. They all kept her ring around their finger and promised to never forget her. Within months they’ve all left. The somber attitude is so thick you can barely breathe. You’re in the final year of college and you’ve been told about her from a classmate. The story of how the risen fell and how everyone was teared apart by the death of a teammate. How after the battle was won the makeshift family parted ways.
You didn’t believe it until you saw the deserted cave where the happy chorus of laughter echoed and screams of joy from another person. Everyone left except the spirit tied to the place. You never knew that until you just about make out the image of a girl holding out a letter and she’s smiling. There a wound where her lung would be. You choose to take the letter and slowly she vanishes back into the non-existence, the last thing you see is her smile before she vanishes. If it weren’t for the letter in your hand she might of merely been a hallucination. You recognise the name on the envelope and sprint down the pathway to the valley. The name is Astoria, Kai and Irene and they moved to the valley. You see the house and knock on the door to Astoria. You wordlessly hand over the letter respecting the dead’s wishes. You watch as the girl with pink hair opens the letter and screams for her lovers. Warmth fills your heart as you see them smile and laugh at the stupid things she must’ve written. It’s been years but they still haven’t forgotten her. You see Astoria smile and Kai beam, Irene is in a fit of laughter on the floor. You’re about to say something when a pain shoots through your lungs. It’s getting harder to breathe and you’re lying in a puddle of crimson liquid, it must be blood but then why is everything so dizzy? The next thing you remember is passing out and passing your body onto someone who asked you too. Someone who is dead but there spirit lingered. Slowly you slip out of control. Olie woke up on the couch of her lovers remembering what had happened. Despite the obvious rumour of the cave being haunted still went. She thought then she would move on but Kai had other ideas remembering her words from all those years ago. Olie woke up to kind words and love. “How are you feeling?” “You can’t just die on me like that.” “Can we dump the rock now.” She gave off a shaky laugh and nodded. “I’m fine, I’m with you and I never intend on leaving. Who’s up for KFC?” That was just like Olie.
