When you click that epic green flag, it will play some epic music for an epic (length-wise and goodness-wise) time!
==CREDITS: ~Luke Jurevicius for composing this. ~Nathan Jurevicius for the Scarygirl IP. ~TikGames and Square Enix for this version of the game. (There's an earlier Flash version in existence, but it has a different soundtrack without this in it.) -What.- I found the demo for this game (adapted from the graphic novel of the same name and w/ very cool cartoon-goth aesthetics) on the Xbox 360 Marketplace and instantly fell in love with this music used on the title screen/Scarygirl's hub. Unfortunately, there is no official soundtrack release, so I made a quick patchwork version of it. -How did you make it, you nerd?- The main meat of the song comes from the launch trailer (sped-up by 8% for some reason, so I changed it back to its original pitch/speed) while the intro is grafted from a let's play. This source proved problematic 'cuz an errant "confirm" sound effect over the guitar plucking on the first bar almost threatened the whole intro. I tried my best at fixing it and it still wasn't perfect, so I've just faded it in to try and mask it. Note the slightly out-of-sync ghost-like synth notes and stomping sounds are also game noises, but I kept them because they fit pretty well and they would have been a nightmare to remove otherwise. While I think this has turned out alright, if I ever get my hands on the PC port of this game (kinda split on that; I like the game but it's got huge problems plus I'm too broke to buy anything on Steam) and can track down the music file for this or at least make a proper recording, I'll upload that instead.
