I missed out a few things on the ref so that’s being updated t o m m o r o w ye Also first evil peep hA (bc I could never miss out a chance to use Ezra Squall in something <3) ♦︎Abilities Explanation♦︎ Cygni is a wundersmith, a power unique to the Nevermoor universe, so although this page is very much a WIP, it kinda gives a few details: https://nevermoor.fandom.com/wiki/Wundersmith A better summary would basically be that a wundersmith is a person who is able to manipulate wunder. Wunder is summoned by singing a single song unique to the wundersmith, and when summoned can be seen by the wundersmith that summoned it and any other nearby wundersmiths, and looks like golden threads of light reminiscent of energy (which it can in fact be used as and is how Squall Industries, the company that Squall is a head of, powers everything). This is the most basic and important art of a wundersmith, summoning. The main other art described in the books is inferno, in which the wundersmith can summon a sort of fire that is made of wunder. Wundersmith are always born wundersmiths, and it is a result of them being born on a day known as Eventide Day in the universe of Nevermoor, which happens every 12 years when a new age begins within an era. ♦︎Backstory♦︎ (alright I realized just now that I’m extremely rusty on Ezra Squall’s backstory so I can’t really edit it that well, so would it be alright if I added this later? I needed to reread the books anyway oof,,)
