My entry for @federation ‘s robot design contest is the SH4-D3 Model Assassin Droid, or more commonly known as a Shade. It’s pitch black and very dark gray colour scheme allows it to blend in with it’s surroundings. The limbs are attached with a mag-lev system used by the bullet trains of Tokyo and Hong Kong, allowing the arm modules to be switched out for repair, as well as a whole arsenal of weapons. The weapons it currently bears are a concussion launcher on the left arm and a Tambic Gas dispenser on the right (Tambic Gas is a poisonous gas with a very high freezing point, and freezes in room temperature freezing anything in the path for a few seconds). A Shade can also remotely demagnetise all its limbs and roll around, due to the perfectly spherical body, and remagnetise them when it reaches its target. A Shade is a very dangerous target and should not be approached alone. However, there is one weakness: If you manage to disconnect the magnetic connectment between limbs (by putting a non-magnetic source between them), that limb will not reconnect. If you disconnect all limbs and disable it from rolling, it will overheat over trying to roll and implode. Thanks for reading all that! If you’re @federation, I support your decision of the winner. If you’re anyone else, I hope you enjoyed my little robot thing I created today. Bye! ~All the best, Twig
