❝No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin or his background or his religion. People learn to hate and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love for love comes more naturally to human heart than its opposite.❞ – Nelson Mandela We All Bleed The Same (a short story) Instructions Press the left and right keys to navigate. The book is basically about a black girl who's best friend, who is also black, got shot by a police officer. The story follows the girl as she struggles through fighting for justice about the shooting and racial equality. I loved this book, it had such an amazing meaning and I was heartbroken when it ended. Then, a little while later, I stumbled across an amazing MAP on Scratch called 'Bleed the Same MAP [Completed]' (link to the map below). I was so inspired, and I absolutely loved the song that the MAP was based upon. Instantly I began to visualise a story line, and this little story was created. TobyMac, Kirk Franklin (I cut out the ending because I felt like it was a bit too religious, and the whole meaning of the song and the story is about equality etc.) ✎ Art is from Google ✂︎ Coding is done by me (@LunaLovegood35) Edit: Unlike other stories, like Axe and Every Time I See Her, I actually named my characters *small applause*. The black girl is Jada, and the white girl's name is Amy. I went for basically stereotype names, to make it more obvious that they're different. I never ended up putting their names in the story, but at least I named them. Another edit: thank you so much to @cs2059477 and for proposing this to be featured! It means so much to me. ANOTHER edit: thank you so much to for asking a FPC to curate this
