Instructions

~ "What is a DMAC?" DMAC stands for 'Design Me a Character'. A bunch (hopefully?) of people will create designs, and the host will choose their favorites to keep. Usually there are prizes and usually, anyone who did not win gets to keep the design(s) they made. ~ As usual, there are prizes for this and anyone who does not win or decides before the due date that they want to keep their design is allowed to keep theirs. (Please don't wait for me to choose your design to ask if you can keep it, that's pretty much scamming and it's a pretty horrible thing to do.) ~ Please acknowledge the fact that if you join this, the design is technically neither yours nor mine until the results are announced (unless you decide to keep yours). I won't make drawings/animations/etc. of any designs in this until the contest ends, and neither should anyone else - it makes it seem like you made the design for yourself and not for the contest, and in that case I'd really rather you just keep it instead of submitting it to a contest, because then you might want it back afterward and that's just a mess. ~ There are no codewords for this but still please be respectful when you enter! ~ Including names, bios, or even full-on stories in your entry is fine, but please be aware that if I keep the design I may change some of these things. ~ DO NOT USE BASES FOR THIS. Hand in hand with that, don't trace or steal other people's designs! That'll get you immediately disqualified. Stealing is wrong! "Ok, so I know what the rules are - but what sort of designs are you even looking for in this?" If you enter this (and oh god thank you so much if you do, it means a lot <3) then you're allowed to make whatever design you want for it, and as many designs as you want, but here are a few tips about design aspects I like to give you a better shot at winning! ~ Species? Go wild, I adore designs of all shapes and sizes. You can do whatever you want, and it can be any sort of creature. Heck, you can even create new ones if you feel like it :o ~ Colors? I don't really care, I like pastel, dark, really anything is up for debate ~ Accessories? Here's where the real fun begins! I don't really care! Just don't pile on accessories and you should be fine ~ Theme? Um, well, doesn't really matter. It can be mysterious, fantasy, or straight-up demonic, I don't mind, I love anything out-of-this-world or magical.
