backdrops 1-200: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/326304656/ backdrops 201-400: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/331544495/ Welcome to this planet! If you're a new remixer, please go to this link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/320461387/ (it's outdated; prior remix chain experience encouraged) and then please remix the latest remix and read the rules at the notepad link below. To find the latest remix, just add the remixtree/ suffix onto this project URL and then scroll up and zoom in until you see the topmost project. Use the left and right arrows on your keyboard to move around the backdrops (for computer) Use the left and right arrows on the top left and right corner respectively to move around (for mobile) To transition between the emerald, amethyst, and diamond versions, press the button that appears on the left side of the screen that is just below the left arrow sign, or just use the arrow buttons. (desktop and mobile) (Computer-only feature:) Press L to go to the latest backdrop. For the white buttons such as "relations" and "rules", click on them to show their contents, and click again to close. (both) If you want to remix, remember to say "remixing" (or an understandable variation of it) so that everyone knows to wait. After that you have 3 days to do it or else it simply "expires" and someone else can remix it. RULES: https://notepad.pw/share/phrp36y22 The rules are also in the project, but they may be outdated. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CONTRAPTION: To ignite the rocket, you'd have to make sure that the "bird container" was stamped onto the ground, so that any heat cannot escape (though it really will, from the can and from the ground). You also had to make sure that the rocket was hot enough (touch it with an unignited torch, if it ignites within the first 10 seconds, it's ready). To launch, just throw the "rocket" in the air. The first test went a whopping 88 meters, going 87 meters in the air. The second test went 92 meters, going 64 meters in the air. The third test, and the final test of the meeting, went 82 meters, going 81 meters in the air. (Height and distances courtesy of some other scientist piggies that measured in their length, and a smart piggy that converted them to meters)
