'' Bye DuckPaw. '' He mewed staring at the white kit with grey speckles. He scampered outside. He sat down besides Snack, '' Hello '' He meowed, his tail raising happily. ''Oh hi- '' Snack blushed, raising her paw to her head a floofed out the small piece of floof on her head. DuckPaw walked down the cliff to see him. '' Oh hi FlowerPaw '' DuckPaw meowed to her brother, they were never close as kits but- '' Oh Uhm hi.. '' FlowerPaw replied being annoyed and uncomfortable '' How come shes talking to me now? '' He thought almost growling in anger. DuckPaw obviously felt the annoyance and left disappointingly. He then noticed a large crowd looking up, he stared at Snack and she must've saw it too cause she followed close behind. They looked up and saw a massive silhouette of a hawk, swooping down but never touching any cats. Til it swooped down and almost grabbed hold of SheepKit ,the small white kit crouched down as WhiteFreckle jumped in front of her and hissed biting it's large legs. It swooped back up and circled 3 more times. DuckPaw sat down looking almost limp as a newborn kit, her tail covering his sad paws not even noticing the hawk til it swooped down and picked her up. It held her by sides, blood poured from her newly found wounds as she screeched in pain and fear. She tried biting its legs to let it's large talons off her but it didnt work, FlowerPaw stared in guilt as he tried to jump up to save his sister. He jumped up and bit its talon, it let go of a leg and scratched his face. He fell off blood poured from his wound. He watched in fear as DuckPaw drifted away, blood dripping down. AspenWish poured out of the nursery staring at the blood and the mourning and the anger flooding throughout the camp. He already knew what had happened
