Mostly held in large parking lots or air parks, some events are held on tracks and go-kart tracks come up occasionally. Courses are defined using traffic cones, sometimes outlined in chalk to help with visuals. Drivers take to the course one at a time against the clock. Penalties are applied for displaced cones or missed gates." Whoever gets the fastest time wins. If a cone is knocked over, a 2 second penalty is applied. Missed gates can result in invalid laps. Anybody with a driving license can participate and all types of vehicles like go carts, dedicated sports cars, and even cars people use for their daily lives, and more, are used. However, vehicles with a high rollover risk are not allowed. It won't tear up your car. It is a low cost motorsport and a great event for people wanting to take up motorsports.
