Everyone introduced themselves to Eli-Luka, trying to keep up the somewhat inviting mood. The butler cleared his throat. “Now, as I’m sure as you can tell, many of you are incredibly famous, and if not, you are all well known and worth a lot of money.” Everyone looked around the room, nodding. “And I’m sure why all of you have been invited here?” He asked. Everyone nodded again. “Well, Mr. Bones, the host, wanted to invite you here for a dinner. So that he could talk with other famous people going through scandals.” he said it as if it was the most Matter of fact thing to say. A few of the invitees gasped, as if insecure over their scandals, while others remained stonefaced. Ruby raised her hand. “Excuse me sir. If I may ask, who is Mr. Bones? I have never heard of him before.” She said, pushing her glasses up her nose. The Butler nodded. “Ah. Yes. Mr. Bones is the host, and he invited you here, because he sympathized with you. Now, would anyone like anything to drink?” He said with a grin. Ruby frowned, noticing the Butler dodged her question. After everyone got their drinks, the Butler left them to the library again, to chat as he prepped dinner. Ruby and Aster started to chat with one another, along with Tamryn. “So, you’re an author, and you’re a fashion designer?” She asked the two. Both laughed, and nodded. Ruby shrugged, “You two give off that vibe.” Tamryn laughed. It was a loud joyful laugh. “And what vibe is that?” They asked. Ruby looked them up and down. “I dunno. Maybe it’s the immaculate hairstyle, which I love by the way. Or the very modern gender-fluid clothes? There are very few brands out there that fit all genders, and even few of those are actually stylish.” She said. Tamryn nodded. “That is true. I have the best style.” They said with a grin. Aster laughed, a quiet laugh that sounded like tinkling bells. She looked over to Ruby. “And what gives off the author vibe for me?” She Asked, cocking her head, a grin spreading across her face. Ruby looked up at the ceiling. “Hmm. Pale skin for one. Authors tend to spend a lot of time indoors. Your hair just gives off an author vibe to me as well. Plus, you have ink stains under your fingernails.” Aster widened her eyes, looking at her hands. “My goodness! You’re right!” She fiddled with one of her nails for a moment. Tamryn looked at Ruby, staring for a few seconds. “You seem to have a pretty high spacial awareness. What is your career?” They asked. Ruby paled. She was about to tell, but was cut off by an argument that was breaking out between a few of the other guests. Melody and Azure were arguing, and Azura was watching the two with Ara. “I don’t even understand how YOU got invited here!” Melody snapped, flicking her blood red hair off her shoulder. Ara growled under her breath. “I just don’t understand how two hired killers end up at the same party. Somethings going on.” She said, with wide eyes. Melody gasped. “You watch your tongue, there are people watching!” She snapped, looking around the room. Before anything else could happen, the Butler opened the door to the library. “Dinner is ready. If you would all follow me to the dining room, then we may all begin.
Do any of you have any theories for anything that is going on? Why do you think Ruby has such a high level of spatial awareness? And why does it seem like the Butler is trying to hide something about the house from the guests? Sorry for sharing this a day late!
