OUTLINE/OTHER NOTES : Overview: There is a more advanced world beyond what Isaac knows. He eventually discovers this half of the world, and he and the other kids explore the newly found area. They argue with each other and the people they come across, but in the end they must come together to all reach their goals. Setting notes: There are some homes of monsters in the caves, catacombs, and depths, but The Necropolis is a bustling city, rife with crime, vice, and drama! The area outside the Cathedral is also pretty populated. It is guarded by angels and is less dangerous than the Necropolis. Gutfolk: Humans turned into gruesome monsters. This is usually caused by deals with demons or curses, though there are some other ways, too. Most enemies are these, if they aren't angels, demons, or the following... Threadkin: Sentient doll creatures. Pretty durable, with regenerative abilities that prevent them from just unraveling or bursting at the seams. They each have one primary ability and a few, weaker, secondary ones based off of the material they were sewn from and stuffed with. Due to the strength of these abilities, they are not allowed to use them in battle with the children, but they can use them out of battle on each other. Death, Famine, Greed, and Wrath are all Threadkin, along with the Rainmaker. Others: There are other beings, like ghosts, homunculi and tulpas, and even some beings that don't seem to be any of the above. -- Game was created by Edmund McMillen.
