Instructions are contained within the Project itself, but the Notes & Credits section of @VinCrafts original project contains a full textual description of how it all works. But I worked it out without reading that and I'm no drummer.
All @VinCrafts incredible work. I remixed it to save a few 16 bar drum sequences I made using the project's amazing Editor, in the comments below. Each of the 5 Music Codes below must be copied (as in the project's Editor the easiest way to select all the text making up a Music Code is to triple-click it) & pasted into the Editor to be played. This 1st one is pretty manic: 21234-aceikm-aceikm-aeim-aeijklmno-go-go--cg-bdfjln-bdfhjlnp-bdfhjlnp-bdfhikmop--ck--a--go-aeim-e-p-p-p-p-e-a--ep---cgko-cg---aeim-aeikmo---bfjn-bf- Once copied from above it must pasted into the Editor to be played, since clicking the Flag reverts the default sequence in the Editor to @VinCrafts original. Personally I like it best played with Looping turned off. And here's another one based on a line from the Beatles' song "I am the Walrus" namely: "Oompah, Oompah, Stick it up your jumper.": 31234--ikm-aeikm-aeikm-----acegikmo-acegikmo-acegikmo-acegikmo-----go--cgko-cgk----o---cgko-cgk-----cgjlo-cgjlo-cgjlo-cgjlo-aeikm-aeikm-aeikm-aeikm- It is a bit crazy, but I also like to play it at 150 bpm. This one just came about with a bit of trial and error, until I got something I liked: 31234--egmo-------acegikmo-acegikmo-acegikmo-acegikmo------------egmo---egmo-mo-----abcegijkmo-acegikmo-abcegijkmo-acegikmo-dl-dl-dl-dl- This is another manic beat, but short and simple: 212-acegikmo-acegkm---bdfjln-bdfhi---acegikmo-acegikm------------m------------acegkm----bdfhi--- And finally this one, which was inspired by the drum beat I marched into class to, after Monday morning Primary School assembly, about 60 years ago: 31234-bdfhnp-bdjl-bdjln-e-----acegimo-aceikmo-acegikmo-b------------e---------acegimo-aceikmo-acegikmo-b----ce- But the most fun is making up your own! NOTE: Some of the sequences above would actually be physically impossible for the Stick Drummer to play, because in some places they require more than one percussion instrument to be hit with the same drumstick at the same time. But it still looks cool and who cares as long as it sounds okay. Enjoy!
