Astryx rubs his hand. "Hey...you done with your report yet?" He asks InfernoScale who nods and hands it over to Astryx. Astryx looks at it and copies a few things onto his own paper. "So...What do you think killed that guy?" He asks picking up the papers and putting them into a basket for case files. Inferno shrugs and gets up. "I think it's time for me to hit the hay. You better go get some sleep to we'll probably up at the same time as the flippin sun rises tomorrow because of that case." He yawns and scratching his back walks out the door. Astryx gets up and grabs his black armor. "Yeah...I probably should go get some sleep..." He gets up turns out the lights and walks down the hall towards the front door. Debra the lady at the front desk waves. "Good night Astryx!" She calls as Astryx walks out the clear glass doors. He waves back and continues on his way. InfernoScale is getting into his car and calls over to Astryx. "Hey you need a ride man? I can give you one." Astryx walks over and leans on the window of the Dodge Charger. "Nah... I think I'll walk this time. It's a nice night out." He replies. "Whatever you say.... I was just offering you a ride." Inferno shrugs. "If you want to get mugged in the streets that alright with me. It'll be your problem when you don't have a wallet anymore." Astryx grins and stands up straight while InfernoScale pulls out. "Won't be your problem? Who else is gonna buy the donuts tomorrow?" Inferno glares and revs his engine. "Well I'll see you tomorrow!" He calls and drives off. Astryx chuckles as he sets off in the direction of his apartment. "Geez...What a guy." he mutters as he walks. "HEELP SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!" A lady yells as she runs around the corner and literally collides with Astryx. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! What’s wrong lady?" Astryx says as he grabs her shoulders trying to calm her down. She looks up into his eyes she's clearly terrified of something. " These men...They stole my baby....!!!" She bawls out. Astryx eyes widen. "Hold on your baby? Where did they go?" Astryx asks setting off at a dead run. She points back the way she came and starts running after. "T-that way. Come on It's not that far...." Astryx follows her and she leads him down a dark alley filled with trash and rats. "Now why in the world is a woman going down a dark place like this?" Astryx thinks to himself. A little too late because right as he does several tough looking men step out from behind trash bins and other receptacles. "Good job, Precious." One of the men bearing an obvious aura of leadership says to the woman. "You lured him right into our trap." He looks at Astryx assessing his value and the possible goods he could have. Astryx looks back at him and grins. "So...You boys are gonna tell me I have to give you my wallet right?" Everyone looks a little uneasy at the sudden enthusiasm of the guy who's about to have the #### beat out of him and then the money taken off him while he's unconscious. The leader looks curious."Well yeah that's kinda why we brought you into this dark alley?" He replies in a sorta spanish accent. "I mean don't you think it's kinda dumb of you to just say it like that?" He adds and Astryx grins replying "Don't you think it's kinda dumb to try to rob one of the toughest royal guards in this whole city? But hey what the hell right? I want to see you try..." He says challenging them by pulling out his wallet and showing everyone there the wads of cash inside of it. The thugs are practically drooling at this point and they all begin to draw their guns. One in particular felt pretty brave and pulled out a long knife and ran at Astryx. "Bad Idea buddy." Astryx eye blazes with a bright neon green flame as he whips out a neon green string and waiting for the knife guy to get close enough dodges the thrust of the knife leans to the side and wraps the string around the man's ankle. "Wha?!?!" The boss exclaims drawing his gun. "Get him men!!!" He yells pushing the girl(AUTHORS NOTE!!! THE GIRL IS A DEER MONSTER GIRL NAMED DOE!!!) clinging to him to the ground. The other thugs rush forward with knives guns and swords as there buddy goes flying out of the alley way to land in the street unconscious. "Alright now we are talking!" Astryx grins slamming one guy in the gut with a bony fist and wrapping his strings around the neck of another sending this guy flying into the leader. They hit the ground with a thump the leader struggling to move the mans heavy bulk off of him. Astryx whirls to another opponent who scared out of his mind is firing wildly in Astryx direction. "Stupid. " Astryx grins again as he turns invisible and walks over to the scrawny guy with the gun.
He taps the guys shoulder. "Huh?" The man turns and receives a mouthful of boney knuckles which aren't the best for the teeth Astryx learns when the thugs teeth fall on the ground and the thug follows unconscious. Seeing the moaning bodies on the ground he wipes his hand on his pants and walks over to the leader who is still pinned under the big guy. "What's your name punk?" The leader looks up absolutely terrified. "People call me Weasel....What are you?" He says frightened. Astryx grins "The one monster you didn't get to rob." Turning he picks up his wallet off the ground and pulls out a twenty. He lays it on the bosses face saying. "Buy yourself some groceries or something." He lays a twenty on all the other people he beat up and knocked unconscious. "When they wake up tell them that's for trying. And that next time they pick on somebody they should choose more wisely." He turns and leaves. Author's note. This bottom half is the rest of the story... The first part was too long I guess.
