@craxyknight200's Shadowtale AU Backstory: Roman was a casual teenager who explores different dimensions. Suddenly, he appeared in what seemed like a normal AU, until a black liquid flew at his portal and vaporized it. Trapped, Roman started to explore to see what the AU specifically was. He walked up upon a more depressed looking Sans. He walked past him, noticing the black liquid once again. He ran, unsure of what to do. His magic wasn't working, and he was trapped as more people became corrupted. He reached Alphys' lab when he saw that she was corrupted as well. While she was in her insane state of mind, he stole some parts and metal armor from the royal guards. He tested what the black liquid was, to learn that it was "Black Determination." He took the substance and experimented with it to invent his "Black Determination Proof Armor," or "BDPA." Fully protected, he now scavenges the Shadowtale world in hopes for materials, and hopefully a cure for the BD. He lives in Alphys' true lab, where nothing has reached it...yet.
