Right before Silverclaw becomes the leader of Riverclan, she visits the river. She wonders if she will be worthy enough to serve her clanmates as their leader. Worthy enough for her mother, and her kit who now walked in Starclan? Would she be able to build a new life with her clan? ******************************************************************** Silverclaw's Backstory: Silverkit was born a rouge, but when her mother Sweet, died after being killed by a badger, the Riverclan leader Pinestar took her in. When she became a warrior, Silverclaw fell in love with a Shadowclan warrior named Oakheart. A few moons later she had a kit. She named the she kit Sweetkit, after her mother, Sweet. Sadly Sweetkit had the same deadly fate as her grandmother. A badger snuck into the nursery when Sweetkit was 1 moon old. The badger managed to kill Sweetkit before Silverclaw even noticed he was there. When Silverclaw woke up and saw her daughter lying lifelessly on the stone floor and the huge badger standing over her kit, she let out a mournful yowl and attacked the badger, chasing the badger into the woods. But when Pinestar lost his last life, he declared Silverclaw the new leader. A few days after Pinestar died, Silverclaw's mate, Oakheart joined Riverclan. But when Riverclan got a surprise attack from Windclan before Silverclaw's naming ceremony, Oakheart got a very bad injury on his leg. Even though he never fully recovered he became the deputy of Riverclan because of his loyalties to Riverclan.
