This is part 1 of ghost's backstory. This part is not that bad but some of the later parts have blood and gore and bullying. Ghost’s backstory: Friday, 12th of March 2004. I stood outside in the rain as it fell. The grey clouds not very far away suggested that it would get worse. My mother hurried out of the house and after shoving me in the backseat of the car, got in and started the engine. She drove it down the road, I’d been this way many times before sometimes with mother sometimes with father but usually with grandma. I wondered where grandma is, I haven’t seen her in a while. Suddenly mum parks the car and almost sends me flying out of the booster seat I was strapped into. She ripped the seatbelt of her and then she ripped mine off and grabbed me out of the car. “Mama?” I begin, “Why are we here?” I’d seen this place many times but never been here. I thought it belonged to a mighty king. The stones around the place looked kind of like stones used in a palace. Mother, refusing to answer the question, walks in silence. We join a group of people, most of them old like grandma, again I wonder what happened to her. Some random guy began to talk but I didn’t care. Everyone did a bunch of random stuff and I was really confused. “What’s happening?” I ask mother when everyone seemed to be chattering sadly. “Grandma died,” she said, the words seemed to be stuck in her throat. “What? Oh, so I guess I won’t be seeing her again.” I said sadness gripping my heart. As we walked to the car the rain began to ease off a bit and a rainbow appeared. I noticed on a hill of flowers not very far away I could see someone old, someone familiar, and someone I didn’t want to leave me. That someone was none other than Grandma. “Mama! Mama! Look Grandma!” I said in excitement. “Stop joking around, she’s dead.” Mother said coldly. I couldn’t believe Grandma was dead, she was smiling and waving at me and she picked up a flower and threw it to me. I caught it and got in the car. Although I didn’t know it that was the first time I saw a ghost. I was only four and that was only the beginning. Tuesday, 7th of June, 2011: I walked into the school gates, quiet as ever. I hoped to not get noticed by ghosts or the living, but it seemed I was hoping for too much as usual. “Hey, Bas!” Makenzie, the most annoyingest person I could name, came and greeted him. “Go away,” I muttered. “Awwww, is someone too shy to be around the prettiest girl in the school?” she teased. This was one of the many reasons I hated her. She always thought she was pretty but I could compare her to a rock and see no difference. It was like that with ghosts too. “I’m not interested in you,” “Really? Or are you too much of a tsundere to admit it?” “Go away,” I growled as I stalked off to my locker. “Need help?” my Grandma’s spirit asked as I tried to ignore her. “Yes,” I mouthed to her. Grandma nodded and tripped Makenzie. “Thanks,” I whispered to her. part 2:
