Click or tap bricks to toggle them-- or, just watch (and listen). (Weird, I know!) Remix ideas: what if you changed the video behind the wall, or changed the wall to be something else?
Inspired by the featured "Pompoms!" studio and by a friend of mine who makes cool video art. I figured it would be fun (and weird) to make some interactive video art with Scratch involving pompoms. =Process= - First, I took videos of pompoms! I made a makeshift "tripod" for my phone. Then, I recorded different ways of making pompoms move. Some Scratch Team members gave me ideas when they saw me working on it. In the video I ended up using, I blew on the pile of pompoms from different directions. - I converted the video to a gif using an application called GIF Brewery. - I took a photo of a brick wall in my neighborhood. - I used Photoshop to separate out each of the bricks. I think I could have also used the Scratch bitmap editor but it might have taken more time. - I imported everything! Each brick became a clone in front of the pompoms gif. =Credit= Music: "Time Wasting" by Podington Bear (I know, the title of the song fits this project very well...)
