Use Arrow keys to move. Down arrow gets you out of platforms. You can adjust your stats to a total of 8. Do not touch red. You will lose one of your 5 lives. You lose when you have 0 lives left. Both blue and red will teleport you to the beginning of the level, but blue won't take away any of your lives. Get to purple
