I really just made this for myself, but here it is anyways. Change rules....................[space] Dev data...........................[d] Speed up..........................[turbo mode] Basically, this is just a simulator that shows evolution; leave it on for a few minutes, and the circles will change in size, sense and speed. Each circle has to find at least one piece of food to survive, and two to reproduce. Once all of the food has been eaten, they return to the top of the screen again. Faster circles are cooler colours, ones that have better sense are warmer colours. Sense is how well a circle can notice if there is food near them. Size affects their speed, and bigger ones use energy faster, while smaller ones conserve energy. However, a big circle that only found one food has a chance to reproduce anyways. A big circle that found no food has a chance to live on anyways. It also draws out a (neat!) graph of the population.
Based off of Primer's evolution videos, (Youtube). 1.0.0 - 18/12/19 - Release 1.0.1 - 20/12/19 - Added variables that can be changed when space key pressed 1.0.2 - 6/1/20 - Changed some texts 1.1.0 - 28/5/20 - Major graphics update. Graph now automatically adjusts to always show a neat graph. 1.1.1 - 1/6/20 - As requested by @OsElements, some dev stuff can be shown/hidden when 'd' is clicked. #evolution #simulator #evolution simulator #circles #graph
